This Privacy Policy explains how Home Privacy Protector, LLC ("HPP", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards Personal Information when you visit our websites, create an account, or use our services that assist homeowners and authorized agents with requesting the removal or suppression of property images from third‑party platforms (the "Services"). This Policy also describes your privacy rights and how to exercise them.

By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Summary: We use your information primarily to verify your identity/authority, communicate with third‑party platforms on your behalf, process payments, provide reports, and operate/improve the Services. We do not sell Personal Information. We do not collect government‑issued IDs, images of IDs, or other photos of personal identification, and we do not use or disclose Sensitive Personal Information to infer characteristics about you.

1) Scope & Who We Are

This Policy applies to Personal Information we process about customers, prospective customers, site visitors, and authorized agents in connection with the Services. We only serve the United States. The Services are intended for use within the U.S. only.

The types of Personal Information we collect depend on how you interact with us and the Services.

A. Information You Provide

  • Identity & Contact: name, email, phone, mailing address (if provided), account credentials.
  • Property & Authorization: street address of the property, proof of ownership/residency or authority (e.g., deed/closing statement, lease, utility bill, authorization letter, power of attorney), and related documentation or images you submit.
  • What we don’t collect: government‑issued IDs, images of IDs, or other photos of personal identification. If a third‑party platform requires such verification, you must submit it directly to that platform; we do not receive or store it.
  • Payment Details: we use third‑party payment processors; we receive limited billing metadata (e.g., amount, status) but not full card numbers.
  • Communications: support inquiries, emails, forms, surveys, testimonials, and call/meeting notes.

B. Information We Collect Automatically

  • Device/Usage Data: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, pages viewed, links clicked, and timestamps.
  • Cookies/Similar Tech: to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure site performance. See Section 9 for choices.

C. Information from Third Parties

  • Third‑Party Platforms (e.g., Realtor.com, Movoto, Redfin, Zillow, Trulia, Google): URLs/screenshots of property listings, status updates, or outcomes related to removal/blur requests we submit on your behalf.
  • Service Providers: identity verification, analytics, hosting, email delivery, payment processing.

We combine information from the above sources to operate the Services.

3) How We Use Personal Information (Purposes)

We use Personal Information to:

  1. Provide the Services: verify identity/authority; prepare, submit, and track removal/suppression/blur requests; communicate outcomes; and deliver reports.
  2. Customer Support & Communications: respond to inquiries; send administrative notices (e.g., confirmations, updates, changes to terms or policy).
  3. Payments & Accounting: process transactions, detect/prevent fraud, and maintain business records.
  4. Security & Integrity: protect against, detect, and investigate malicious or illegal activity; secure our Services.
  5. Service Improvement & Analytics: operate, maintain, and improve the Services; develop new features; understand usage.
  6. Legal & Compliance: comply with law, enforce our Terms, and defend our rights.

Where required by law, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases: contract, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligations.

4) How We Disclose Personal Information

We disclose Personal Information to:

  • Third‑Party Platforms (as your authorized agent): Realtor.com, Movoto, Redfin, Zillow, Trulia, and Google (Street View blur) and other listing/hosting platforms as needed to process your requests. We share only what is reasonably necessary (e.g., your name, property address, and proof of ownership/authority). We do not collect or share government‑issued IDs or images of IDs.
  • Service Providers/Processors: hosting, cloud storage, email/SMS, customer support tools, analytics, identity verification, payment processing, and professional advisors. They may only process information per our instructions.
  • Business Transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • Legal/Compliance: to comply with law or valid legal process, enforce our Terms, or protect rights, safety, and property.

We do not sell Personal Information and do not share it for cross‑context behavioral advertising.

5) Data Retention

We retain Personal Information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect our rights. Identity/authorization documentation is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to verify requests and support outcomes (e.g., during the request window and a reasonable period thereafter for audit or dispute purposes) and then securely deleted or archived as permitted by law.

6) Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access and Portability – request a copy of your Personal Information.
  • Correction – request we correct inaccurate Personal Information.
  • Deletion – request we delete Personal Information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Opt‑Out of certain processing, including targeted advertising or sale (we do not sell/share Personal Information as defined by applicable law).
  • Limit the use/disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information — we do not collect SPI. If you believe you submitted SPI inadvertently, contact us to request deletion.
  • Appeal – if we deny your request, appeal our decision.

To exercise rights, email privacy@homeprivacyprotector.com with the subject “Privacy Request” and include your name, the property address (if applicable), and the request type. We will verify your identity and respond as required by law. You may use an authorized agent (additional verification required). If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing privacy@homeprivacyprotector.com with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject. If you are unsatisfied, you may contact your state attorney general.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)/Do Not Track: We honor GPC signals to the extent required by law. We do not currently respond to other DNT signals.

Children’s Privacy: The Services are not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under 16.

7) Security

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the Personal Information we process. No security program is perfect; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8) Data Location (United States Only)

We are based in the United States, and all processing occurs in the U.S. The Services are intended for U.S. residents only. If you choose to access the Services from outside the U.S., you do so at your own initiative and your information will be processed in the United States, which may have different data‑protection laws than where you live.

  • Customer Records/Property Information: property address, URLs/screenshots, proof of ownership/residency/authority (e.g., deed, lease, utility bill). Sources: you; third‑party platforms. Purposes: verify authority; process removal/blur requests. Disclosed to: third‑party platforms (as your agent); service providers.
  • Commercial Information: transaction amounts, order details. Sources: you; payment processors. Purposes: payments, accounting. Disclosed to: service providers.
  • Internet/Network Activity: device data, log data, cookies. Sources: your device; analytics. Purposes: security; site functionality; analytics. Disclosed to: service providers.
  • Sensitive Personal Information: Not collected.

Retention: We retain each category for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above (see Section 5).

Sale/Share: We do not sell Personal Information and do not share it for cross‑context behavioral advertising.

11) Third‑Party Websites & Services

Our Services may link to third‑party websites (e.g., Realtor.com, Movoto, Redfin, Zillow, Trulia, Google). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

12) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (e.g., by posting to our site, email, or in‑product notice). The revised Policy is effective when posted unless otherwise stated. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
